Tristan Meunier

Chief Scientific and Innovation Officer & Co-founder

Tristan Meunier is Chief Scientific and Innovation Officer and co-founder of Quobly. A physicist trained in quantum engineering, he earned his PhD under Nobel laureate Serge Haroche at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship at TU Delft with Lieven Vandersypen on spin qubits.

At CNRS, Tristan built Grenoble’s spin qubit community, secured an ERC Starting Grant in 2015, and led the national silicon qubit computing program from 2019. In 2019, together with Maud Vinet, he received a €14M ERC Synergy Grant, which laid the groundwork for the creation of Quobly in 2022.

Author of over 120 peer-reviewed publications (H-index: 37), Tristan combines deep scientific expertise in quantum physics with a strong international research network. At Quobly, he ensures the coherence of the company’s quantum roadmap and drives the translation of scientific breakthroughs into scalable, industrially deployable technologies.
