Technical Challenges

Reporting to the Information Systems Department (ISD), the Systems and DevOps Administrator is responsible for maintaining the operational readiness, security, and evolution of the IT infrastructure in our environment, which combines on-premises and cloud servers.

D.Devops

  • You will be responsible for maintaining the redundant deployment of the GitLab service on the OVH and Scaleway platforms (managed Kubernetes PaaS).
  • You will be responsible for the maintening and adaptation of the GitLab CI/CD pipeline.
  • You will be responsible for the maintening the redundant deployment of business services and applications (databases, web apps) on the OVH and Scaleway platforms.
  • You will be responsible for the maintening, redundancy, and monitoring of the internal LLM infrastructure.
  • You will establish a technology watch to maintain the key components of our services (Docker image provider, cloud services, and Kubernetes).

Systems Administration and Management

  • In a Linux environment, you will manage the installation, configuration, and administration of servers (Debian, Ubuntu, RedHat). You will also manage web services (Apache, Nginx), databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and scripting (Bash, Python).
  • You will perform maintenance and deployment of services on OVH/Scaleway infrastructures based on Terraform/Kubernetes/Ansible/Helm, as well as on on-premises infrastructure (Proxmox, SAN, ESXi, iDRAC, iLO, NAS).

Operational Maintenance (OM) and Security

  • You implement proactive system monitoring to anticipate outages.
  • You implement and monitor backup policies (Veeam) and participate in the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
  • You will manage the lifecycle of servers and services using Ansible/APT/YUM/Helm charts.
  • You will monitor security threats and apply critical security patches.

In your role as a support specialist, you provide Level 2 and 3 technical support for complex incidents.  Draft and update technical documentation (procedures, architecture diagrams).

You Are Special Because

  • You have a Master degree (or equivalent from an engineering school).
  • You have a proven track record (3 years) in system administration and DevOps
  • In-depth knowledge of Linux systems: Proficiency in the command line, user management and SSH, permissions, package management, service troubleshooting, cron, and log analysis.
  • You are proficient in automation: scripting (Bash, shell, Python), configuration tools (Ansible), and version control (Git/GitLab), as well as network solutions: routers, switches, firewalls/iptables, RADIUS, SSL/TLS certificates, NPS, NTP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, SSH, RDP… and OSI model protocols.
  • Cloud and virtualization: Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm, Docker, experience with cloud platforms (AWS, OVH, Scaleway, etc).
  • You are familiar with TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and SSL/TLS certificates.
