Carlos Moreira

He is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of WISeKey International Holding AG and serves as Chairman and CEO of SEALSQ. Prior to founding WISeKey, he spent more than 17 years as a United Nations expert on cybersecurity, digital trust, and electronic commerce, advising organizations including the UN, World Bank, UNDP, and WTO.

Since founding WISeKey in 1999, Carlos has been at the forefront of digital identity, cybersecurity, IoT security, and trusted digital ecosystems. Through SEALSQ, he continues to drive innovation in secure semiconductors and post-quantum cybersecurity technologies.

A frequent speaker at major international forums, including the United Nations and the World Economic Forum, Carlos is widely recognized for his contributions to digital trust and innovation. He is also the founder of OISTE.org and the Geneva Security Forum, and the co-author of The TransHuman Code: How to Program Your Future.
